Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE] · Version [LEGAL_VERSION]

These terms are a contract between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we") for VO2max Health ("the Service").

1. The Service

The Service shows fitness information (such as VO2max, heart rate, HRV, sleep and activities) from services you connect, and lets you ask questions about it, including through AI assistants you choose to connect.

2. Not medical advice

The Service provides general fitness information only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Estimates (for example VO2max from a watch) can be inaccurate. Consult a qualified professional before changing your training if you have health concerns. Stop exercising and seek help if you feel unwell.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16, give a valid email and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for any personal access tokens you create.

4. Connected services

Connecting a third-party service (e.g. Garmin Connect, Polar, Strava) is optional. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them. We are independent from these companies; brand names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify compatible services. Availability of each connection depends on the provider and may change.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no reverse engineering, scraping, abusing the API or tokens, interfering with security, or uploading data you have no right to.

6. Your content and data

You keep ownership of your data. You give us a limited licence to process it only to provide the Service as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Use policy.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or end features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms.

8. Fees

The Service is currently free. If paid plans are introduced, prices and terms will be shown before you pay.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on estimates shown. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or under consumer protection laws).

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]; courts of [JURISDICTION], without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country.
